FAT doesn't make you fat!

You read that heading right?

Fat doesn’t make you fat, SUGAR makes you fat.  Remember that time in the mid 80’s when fat became the enemy; I can still picture the commercials for “Parkay vs butter”. Diabetes has doubled since 1988 and obesity has more than doubled since the 80’s. We made fat the bad guy but what it was replaced with, SUGAR!  It’s been downhill ever since. You can buy a package of sugar and they can stick a fat free sticker on it but the truth is, once it enters your mouth it is fat.

Yes, your body does need sugar for energy!

But the real issue is excessive sugar. When there is a surplus of sugar, your liver converts it to fatty acid and returns it to the blood stream where it is sent off to storage. When storage has been reached, it then stores fat in your organs. If fat was so bad, then the French and Eskimos, who are known for high fat diets should be overweight and afflicted with high rates of heart disease right?, WRONG! They have some of the lowest rates in the world.

Ingredients Preferably Organic

2 Cups of Almond Milk

½ Cup of Chia Seeds

1 Tablespoon of Raw Honey

1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

Shake and Refrigerate for half an hour.
